BLONDE

BLONDE

Blonde are made up of English duo Jacob Manson and Adam Englefield. Their rise to the top has been nothing short of meteoric from their first collaboration in 2014, with a track entitled ‘Talk To You’. Bizarrely they managed to produce this track without having ever met, and it was the success of this long distance collaboration that led to Manson heading back to his hometown of Bristol to meet Englefield, and that’s when the real magic begun. Their production schedule soon gathered pace and took in several influences such as house, R&B and garage.

They were soon signed to the acclaimed FFRR label releasing several hits including ‘I Loved You’ and ‘All Cried Out’ which led to a trail blaze of appearances at some of the UK’s biggest festivals and extensive airplay on the radio. This momentum continued to gather pace throughout 2015 culminating in a series of headlining live and DJ performances at many of the biggest venues and festivals in UK and Europe. Most recently they have collaborated with Craig David on ‘Nothing Like This’ and are working on the finishing touches of their highly anticipated debut album.

SAM FELDT

SAM FELDT

While only in his early twenties, Dutchman Sam Feldt has become quite the international deep house tastemaker. With amazing remix work as well as solid hits like the 2015 release “Show Me Love”, which proved to be his definite claim to fame, he’s definitely one of the DJs to watch for new sounds on the scene.

The impact releases such as Bloesom and Big Love had on the dance scene in 2014 were only cemented by the remix work he did for the likes of Mumford and Sons, Sander Van Doorn and José Gonzales, making Sam Feldt a genuine contender for rookie of the year.

Not content with his massive production successes Sam has played all around the world, sharing the stage with the biggest names in the industry like Kygo, Robin Schulz, Thomas Jack, Alle Farben, Kölsch, Steve Rachmad and Benny Rodrigues. His sound is characterized by beautifully built melodies, loads of atmosphere and emotion packed in a tantalizing, often laidback groove.

GEORGE MAPLE

GEORGE MAPLE

As a teenager performing live alongside iconic Australian artists, including Renee Geyer, Daryl Braithwaite and Jimmy Little, it became obvious that George Maple’s sound and style could not be confined to a single time and place. Although her sound has developed enormously since then, it is this unwavering dedication to her artistic roots that forms the core of her sound today; deeply soulful, a vocal fullness beyond her years and a vulnerability that touches every production she jumps on.

MARK RONSON (DJ)

MARK RONSON (DJ)

Superstar DJ and producer Mark Ronson has earned both praise and popular success for his throwback, soul- and funk-influenced work with such diverse artists as Ghostface Killah, Amy Winehouse, Boy George and Bruno Mars. The stepson of guitarist Mick Jones of Foreigner, Ronson spent the first eight years of his life growing up in England. Having played guitar and drums from an early age, it wasn't until moving to New York City with his mother that he discovered DJ culture.

At age 16, and already a fan of popular hip-hop artists such as Run-D.M.C. and the Beastie Boys, Ronson began listening to the various hip-hop mixtapes. Inspired, Ronson confiscated his father's record collection and tried his hand at mixing. It was the first step in a career highlighted by work on a Grammy-winning album by Winehouse, as well as his own global smash hit "Uptown Funk."

TA-KU (LIVE)

TA-KU (LIVE)

TaKu is a modern day renaissance man. Rising to prominence as one of Australia’s most indemand beatmakers, the Perthbased artist (real name Regan Matthews) has found himself curator of a rapidly expanding, multidisciplinary creative empire. While selling health insurance full-time, the musician was creating the beats in his free time that would become so popular that Ta-Ku became his only job.

From the early days uploading chopped hiphop cuts to Soundcloud, Ta-Ku’s prodigious credits now include ambitious projects like “50 Days For Dilla”, high profile remixes for Flume, Chet Faker, BANKS, Childish Gambino and Justin Timberlake, as well as a clutch of co-written pieces, production efforts and countless selfreleases.

DISCLOSURE (DJ)

DISCLOSURE (DJ)

Disclosure’s extraordinary debut album “Settle” in 2013 put this English duo at the forefront of a new wave of electronic music. “Settle” topped charts, won numerous accolades and ushered in a new type of dance music for the next generation of young music fans, whilst refreshing and rejuvenating the scene for the rest. They followed it up in 2015 with the impressive “Caracal”, which earned Disclosure their second Grammy nomination. Born to musician parents, brothers Howard and Guy Lawrence were surrounded by a wide variety of musical genres and played instruments early on, but it was splicing and experimenting with recorded music that led the brothers to create Disclosure and its signature electronic music with a pop structure sound.
